 Well hello! Thanks for stoppin' by my bio page. There's some things in life you should always know about: math, science, and everything you can find out about yours truly are at the top of that list! So, let's get started, shall we?
I'm a pisces, born February 20 of 19... Oooh, butterflies! Wait! Where was I? Oh, right. We were talking about me. Sorry! Anyway, I started working as a part-timer on the KWYR team on October 6, 2002 and have been loving it here ever since then. Wonderful people to work with, great people to talk to on the phone, and lots of buttons. What's not to love? I also work full time at my alma mater, Todd County High School in Mission, SD. GO FALCONS! (Don't worry, I've still got love for every other team in the area, too!)
I'm a fan of most any kind of music. From classical to hip hop, oldies to r&b, country to rap, I'll listen to most anything. Music has been a passion of mine since I can remember, so I can never get enough. Now do we know why this is my dream job? I thought so! My favorite bands would include 3 Doors Down, Journey, Fleetwood Mac, Moody Blues, and Linkin Park. That's just naming a few! I'm partial to 80's music or remixes using 80's music. It comes from being an 80's baby!
You'll find me on the air usually on weekends, so don't be afraid to tune us in, turn it up and rip that knob off. Once you've got it locked onto the best station in South Dakota and Nebraska, you won't need it anymore. And of course, from time to time, you'll find me on a Free-For-All Friday. It's a treat for both you and me, so be sure to listen! Talking to fun people on the phone who are requesting awesome music. It doesn't get any better than that!
