| Gregory Set to Celebrate the 4th |
|
The City of Gregory has a full weekend planned for the 4th of July Holiday. The D. C. Lynch Carnival will be in town today through Sunday on Main Street. Bull riding will be tonight at the Gregory Municipal Airport grounds beginning with a calcutta at 6:30pm. There will also be a couple of dances tonight as well one at Gregory Lane's and the other a street dance at Mary Bob's.
The 4th of July kicks off with the Avera Gregory Fun Run and Walk for Health at 7:30am with registration. The kiddie parade will begin at 10:30am and the 4th of July parade beginning at 11:00. There will be free swimming at the Gregory Pool from 1:00 to 4:00, the Street Bandits Car Show will take place at the Gregory park from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. An air band contest will take place at 3:00pm. Fireworks will be ignited from the Gregory Municipal Airport on Highway 18 following the baseball game.
Baseball games will take place throughout the weekend as well as Bingo, horseshoe pitching, dirt bike races and more.
