| Rural Ideal Man Dies Over Holiday Weekend |
|
According to a release, a rural Ideal man was killed in a one vehicle roll over accident in Tripp County over the Holiday weekend. The accident happened early Sunday morning, September 6th. The location of the accident was 9.5 miles south of Winner on South County road and was discovered around 3:00am. The only person in the vehicle was 21 year old Joshua Mayes who was thrown from the car he was driving and rolled.
The South Dakota highway patrol is investigating the accident. The Tripp County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene as did the Winner Fire Department and the Tripp County Ambulance.
