| Region 4A results from yesterday.... |

The Region 4A cross country meet was held yesterday in Chamberlain. On the boys side, finishing first in the 5K run was Xavier Norris of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte. Locally, Todd County's Tobias Weddell finished fourth in the event, his teammate Gabriel Red Kettle finished 11th, Winner's Trevor Larson came in 14th, Chamberlain's Davis Carson finished 15th, Cole Phillips of Winner finished 16th and teammate Colton Schuyler was right behind him in 17th. Gregory's Sam Voight finished 19th while Platte-Geddes' Josiah Brink was 20th. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte finished first as a team on the boys side, Wagner was second while Miller came in third. On the girls side, Beautiful Bald Eagle of Cheyenne-Eagle Butte won the girls 4K run. Todd County's Lottie Grimshaw came in second, Anna Byers of Chamberlain finished third, Chloe Bartels of Winner came in fourth place, Amory Prue of Todd County was fifth, Reganne Engebretson of Platte-Geddes was 8th, Madeline Tyrell came in 10th yesterday, Tiffany Swanson of Chamberlain finished 12th, Carlie Thieman of Winner came in 13th while teammate Katie Mathis was right behind her at 14th. Sydney Schuyler of Winner finished 18th while Chamberlain's Brittney Goodlow was 20th. Finishing first as a team was Cheyenne-Eagle Butte, second was Chamberlain while Winner placed third. The top three teams and top twenty individuals will compete at state next Saturday, October 20th in Huron.
