| Winner boys and girls look to keep rolling along... |
|
A boys and girls basketball doubleheader can be heard on 93.7FM tonight as the Winner Warrior and Lady Warriors make the long bus trip to McLaughlin. The varisty boys contest will be played first and will be followed by the girls game. Jim Drake's Warriors are 7-8 on the season, but have won their last three games. Winner is finally back at full strength, health wise, as big man Kray Krolikowski returned from injury earlier this week. The McLaughlin boys have had a tough go at it this season as they are 2-15. McLaughlin has lost their last eleven games. Rona Volmer's Lady Warriors come off a big road win over Platte-Geddes last night 59-49. The Lady Warriors have won three consecutive games and are playing solid team basketball at the right time of the year. The McLaughlin girls are 9-6 this season and have won their last three games and are 5-2 on their home floor this season. Pre-game coverage for the first game will begin at around 5:45.
