| White River boys are the champs! |
The White River boys basketball team took care of Red Cloud on Saturday in Rapid City to claim the Lakota Nation Invitational. The Tigers have won the title 3 times in the past 4 years. The final score of Saturday's contest was 73 to 52. Wyatt Krogman had 31 points to lead the Tigers.
Elsewhere on Saturday, in boys high school basketball, Chamberlain defeated Scotland 83 to 30. Little Wound defeated Todd County 85 to 71, St. Francis defeated Pine Ridge 59 to 52, and Crow Creek won a close one over Tiopsa Zina Tribal 52 to 50. In girls basketball, Chamberlain defeated Scotland 56 to 43.
