| This is it for Coach Drake |
After a long and successful coaching and teaching career in the Winner School District, this will be the last year for Jim Drake. Superintendant Bruce Carrier announced this on his report earlier today with Leslie Schramm. After 31 years, the long time Warrior Varsity basketball coach has decided this will be his last season. Coach Drake will finish his coaching career with regular season opponents of Wagner, Todd County, St. Thomas More, Ainsworth, Redfield/Doland, Cheyenne Eagle Butte, St. Francis, McGlaughlin, Platte-Geddes, and Mobridge-Pollock. We'll have much more on this story in the coming weeks on both KWYR AM and FM.
